  • Hot Stone

    A hot stone massage is good for anyone who enjoys the relaxing benefits of a massage. If you feel tension, soreness, tightness, or stress and want a break, a hot stone massage may help relieve some of your symptoms. The benefits of hot stone massages and other types of heated massages include releasing tension, promoting relaxation, and helping relieve massage. Massaging muscles and other soft tissue while adding heat can help release the tension that builds up throughout the day and alleviate some of the soreness associated with it.

  • Cupping

    Cupping is a form of massage therapy which decompresses soft tissues using vacuum suction, unlike other forms of massage that compresses soft tissues.  During cupping, the cup gently sucks to your skin and lifts underlying soft tissue into the cup.

    Who can benefit?

    Almost anyone can benefit from cupping.  It is used to treat lack of mobility, tight muscles, scars and many diagnoses like headaches, tendinitis, bursitis, plantar fasciitis, fibromyalgia, and release of trigger points.

    What to expect after treatment?

    Mild soreness is to be expected from the buildup of lactic acid in the muscle tissue, but less soreness than a deep tissue massage.  Bruises are to be expected and can last up to a week.  Physical exertion and heat are not recommended after the treatment.

  • Essential Oil

    Essential oils can lift your mood and make you feel good with just a whiff of their fragrance. For some people they may even help alleviate the symptoms of various conditions. Essential oils can also be absorbed by the skin. Our massage therapist might add a drop or two of wintergreen to oil to help relax tight muscles during a rubdown.

  • Foot Massage

    Many of your internal organs sensory nerves are in your feet. Through massage, a skilled practitioner can use your foot as a kind of detailed body map, and can help treat health ailments by applying pressure on the meridian points that correspond to specific organs. This pressure effectively sends energy to weakened or troubled areas of the body, promoting both physical and psychological health.
